Harvest
Chef and restaurateur, Jesse Dunford Wood opened Harvest in Kensal Rise, on May 4.
Harvest is the third restaurant in Dunford Wood’s portfolio, whose other venues include pub and dining room Parlour (also in Kensal Rise) and Six Portland Road (Holland Park). Cementing his credentials as a talented and considered neighbourhood chef operator, Dunford Wood made a name for himself originally having trained with the likes of Rowley Leigh and Michael Caines before opening the National Dining Rooms with Oliver Peyton and then relaunching the Mall Tavern prior to the arrival of Parlour in 2012.
Found on Chamberlayne Road in Kensal Rise, the modern British restaurant takes over what was previously a former favourite local and long-standing curry house – Bawarchi - in the heart of the Kensal Village. Harvest is a bright, light, all day restaurant serving coffee and breakfast from early morning, through to daily brunch, lunch and dinner.
The colourful, approachable, seasonal and British-led menus evolve throughout the day and week. Regularly changing, there's an emphasis on contemporary plant based dishes which complement the British coastal fish, and direct-from-farm meat which dominate the menu. Dunford Wood’s menus utilise ingredients drawing upon a wealth of significant supplier relationships nurtured over the last 20 years of running professional kitchens in the UK. The drinks offering is wine led, with refined cocktails, and strong non-alcoholic options.

'O ver
One of London's most exciting hidden Italian gems, 'O ver is the UK’s first restaurant to use the unique ingredient of Pure Sea Water in its dishes.
Extracted from the purest areas of the Mediterranean, it is a way to season food while using less sodium chloride and boosting consumption of trace minerals.
Table salt is a salt that has been through a chemical process of purification and has been stripped of all its minerals, whereas Pure Sea Water is naturally purified and micro filtered to remove bacteria and impurities, maintaining a natural composition of more than 96 minerals which are beneficial to the human body including magnesium, potassium and calcium.
‘O ver, found in both Borough and St James, is also renowned for using produce brought right from the source, from small independent local suppliers in and around Naples, which gives it a truly authentic look, feel and taste of being in an Italian Nonna’s kitchen.
O' ver offers picture perfect outdoor terraces, perfect for summer, hidden nooks and crannies for romantic meals, large private dining spaces and open plan seating for entertaining and celebratory meals with friends and family...

The Three Crowns
The Three Crowns, one of Stoke Newington's most iconic gastropubs, has just launched their spring menu.
The pub, whose kitchen is open seven days a week is famous for serving one of the best roast dinners in the UK.
Head chef Ousmane Gaye, who has an impressive culinary background having worked in some of London's most exciting kitchens, has curated a menu that features locally-sourced and seasonal produce. Drawing from his heritage and travels, Ousmane's fusion of African, French, English, and Asian cuisines is evident in dishes such as the Baba ganoush with toasted sourdough bread, Chorizo scotch egg with tarragon aioli (an absolute must-try), and roasted aubergine with coconut curry yoghurt and pomegranate.
'I love putting together unique flavour combinations and turning them into something special, and the spring menu is a great result of it. I want our guests to experience a culinary journey with every bite,' says Ousmane.
