Cheshire Life and the Clink Restaurant at HMP Styal are staging a festive lunch at the magazine's 2024 Food & Drink Awards Restaurant of the Year.
The Clink at HMP Styal, which consistently tops the best Wilmslow restaurant list on Tripadvisor, is run by a charity, based at the women’s prison, with food prepared and presented by students training for qualifications that will help them find employment in the hospitality industry when they leave.
This exclusive event, on Friday, November 29, will have a three-course festive menu and mocktail, good company and fun and games in support of this fantastic charity.
Editor Joanne Goodwin said: 'We’re hoping to fill the restaurant set in a beautiful old chapel.
The festive lunch comes as we approach the end of the magazine’s 90th anniversary year and it will be a chance for me and the Cheshire Life team to spend time with our much-valued readers.
I can vouch personally for the food and service, as will the thousand-plus diners who give it a five-star ‘Excellent’ rating on Tripadvisor.'
