Four restaurants in the Helston area have been named among the best coastal spots in Cornwall to eat at.

The Greenhouse, Kota, Fat Apples Café and New Yard Restaurant were included in a list collated by writer Caroline Boucher in The Times.

The publication shared: "Cornwall’s reputation for good food has come a long way since Rick Stein opened his seafood restaurant in the 1970s. In the first of our summer series of guides to the best places to eat and drink by the coast, all chosen by local experts, the food writer Caroline Boucher gives an insider’s view of Cornwall’s finest spots.

"Whether you want a cream tea (jam on first), farm-to-table dining or freshly-caught fish by the beach, here’s where to nab a table."
