Join Rendcomb College for their virtual open morning and explore the rich and diverse life of the school
Rendcomb College will be hosting a Virtual Open Morning on Friday 15th May from 9.30am until 11.30am. The College, an independent school for 3 to 18 year olds, will be opening its virtual doors for the morning and the event will begin at 9.30am with a talk from the Head of College, Mr Rob Jones. Mr Jones, now in his fifth year as Head, will give you an insight into the rich and diverse life of the College. Rendcomb College is a place where each individual is celebrated, and on the day staff will be online and on the phone to show you how our pupils thrive in our wholesome, family setting within our stunning grounds. After hearing from Mr Jones you can take in the video content provided before taking part in an online Question and Answer session with staff from the Nursery, Junior, Senior and Sixth Form who will be able to answer queries on the academic, pastoral and co-curricular side of the school. The Admissions department will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions too.
While the school begins its centenary year, it maintains a vision and ethos that remains true to the original founding values of providing an inclusive and broad-ranging education for pupils. Its mission is to develop thoughtful, adventurous and academically ambitious young people who are life-long learners. It aims to prepare them with the character and skills to succeed in the ever-changing world after school. Pupils have the freedom to experience, explore and enquire about the world around them. Over the past five years the College has invested significantly in its outstanding facilities. In January a brand new 6th Form Centre located in the heart of the campus was opened to accommodate the rapidly expanding number of pupils studying at Rendcomb for the 6th Form. Other recently completed projects include the state-of-the-art Griffin Theatre, Godman House a co-educational day and boarding house for years 7-9 and a brand new astro turf.
Outside of the classroom there are over 100 clubs on offer throughout the course of the year and Rendcomb aims to allow pupils to develop exisiting skills whilst trying a multitude of new activities. Once schools are open, pay a visit and see for yourself.
