The locally-based financial advisers met criteria such as growth rate, experience of advisers, qualifications and consideration of how the firm’s choices influenced asset growth over the year
Staff at Hazlewoods Financial Planning, the Gloucestershire based financial advisers, are celebrating after being announced in the Top 15 of the Financial Times FTAdviser's 2019 Top 100 Financial Advisers list. With an official ranking of 13, this is the first time Hazlewoods Financial Planning has appeared in the FTAdviser's Top 100.
The FTAdviser rankings assessed a wide range of factors that would be important to any clients looking for the very best financial advice, rather than purely assets under management, which in the past have only highlighted the larger firms.
The criteria for the top 100 ranking included growth rate, experience of advisers across economic and interest-rate environments, qualifications, and consideration of how each firm's choices influenced asset growth over the year.
Kyle Nethercott, Partner at Hazlewoods Financial Planning, said: 'I am incredibly proud of our team and all the hard work they put in, which has resulted in us achieving this position in the Financial Times rankings. It is a tremendous achievement, particularly as we are the only firm with fewer than 5 financial advisers in practice in the top 25.'
Fellow Partner, Stephen Dick, added: 'The way in which the rankings are now produced means that firms who consistently deliver all-round, quality advice are recognised and can compete with the larger firms. It provides a great starting point for anyone looking for financial advice, to understand which firms will suit their needs and we are delighted to have achieved this position.'
Hazlewoods Financial Planning was established in 1988 as a team of four and over the last 30 years has grown to a team of 17 offering a comprehensive advice service.
