A Lyme Regis restaurant has been included among the UK's Top 100 Restaurants for 2024 in the annual list from SquareMeal.
Lilac on Broad Street was in 61st position on the list and was Dorset's only representative. It was also included in the 2023 list in 35th position.
Discussing the creation of the list SquareMeal wrote: "Each of the top 100 results are a unique combination of our own in-house critic-led opinions and thousands of diner votes.

One reviewer wrote: "Wow. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages. And dog friendly too. I would absolutely recommend. I have the vegetarian option and it was the tastiest thing I’ve had in ages. My husband had the pork belly. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed."
