A Hampshire pub has been ranked as having one of the best riverside beer gardens in the UK.
The Mayfly in Fullerton has been included among eight pubs listed by The Times for its wonderful setting to enjoy a pint or two.
Speaking about the pub The Times wrote: "Famed for its trout fishing, the River Test flows alongside this red-brick Victorian pub near Stockbridge.
"There’s a choice of outdoor settings here — a riverside patio or a grassy garden shaded by the boughs of mighty oak trees. For lunch it has to be freshly caught Test trout, before you head off for a walk on Chilbolton Cow Common or a visit to the Black Chalk Vineyard.
"Stay further along the river in Stockbridge at the Grosvenor, which has its own lovely garden."

Earlier this year The Mayfly also became the 2022 winner of the Griffin Trophy, the annual competition between Fuller's 208-managed pubs and hotels and 178 tenanted inns.
