Halloween is just a few weeks away now, which means many people around Hampshire will be thinking about getting some pumpkins for the season.
Carving a pumpkin and using it as a decoration is a fun activity that many take part in around this time of year.
Whilst finding one from a supermarket is useful, many people like the experience of going out to a farm to pick their own out.
Here are a few patches where you can pick out your own pumpkin in Hampshire for Halloween this year.
Hampshire pumpkin picking patches for Halloween 2024
Sunnyfields Farm Pumpkin Picking
Address: Jacob's Gutter Lane, Totton, Southampton SO40 9FX
Sunnyfields Farm will be open on selected dates for a pumpkin extravaganza, as there will be thousands to pick from.
Alongside that, there will be photo opportunities, displays such as the classic pumpkin pyramid and hot food & drink on sale.

The Rotherwick Patch
Address: Frog Lane, Hook RG27 9BE
The Rotherwick Patch near Basingstoke will be open on the weekends of October 12-13, 19-20 and every day from October 24-31.
Opening times are from 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm, and the patch is also dog-friendly.
Whilst entry to the patch is free, there is a £5 charge for parking, which can be booked on the website here.
Droxford Pumpkin Patch
Address: Lycroft Farm, Droxford SO32 2QQ
Droxford Pumpkin Patch will be hosting a Halloween extravaganza over October alongside the pumpkin picking.
There will be a number of activities such as wand-making, potion creation and the chance to meet Wizard Willowbrook.
It will be open October 19-20, 24-27 and October 30-November 3 from 9am to 3pm.
Bourne Valley PYO
Address: Egbury Roa, St Mary Bourne, Andover SP11 6DQ
Pumpkin season will be opening up at Bourne Valley PYO on October 12.
Overall, it will be running every day until October 31 from 10am to 4pm.
A huge range of activities will be running on-site including a bouncy castle, merry-go-round ride, zip wire and giant straw castle.
Durleighmarsh Farm
Address: Durleighmarsh Farm, Petersfield GU31 5AX
Durleighmarsh Farm near Petersfield will be hosting some pumpkin picking from October 19-31.
It will be open from 10am to 4pm every day with there being free entry to the patch.
No booking is required and they recommend bringing your wellies along to the patch being a bit muddy.
Rogate Pumpkin Patch
Address: A272, Rogate, Petersfield GU31 5EG
Pumpkin picking at Rogate will take place every day from October 18 to 31.
There will be plenty of attractions and activities to keep the little monsters entertained.
Attractions around the site include Dracula's Estate, Merlin's Wood, the Enchanted Bubble Witch and the Giant Haystacks.
Elsewhere, you can go to a meet and greet with the Pumpkin Princess, enjoy autumn-themed stories and make the most of several photo opportunities around the site.
Once Halloween is over, a special three-day 'Pumpkin Smash' event will be held from November 1-3.
As the name suggests you'll be able to smash up leftover pumpkins which will then be used to feed farm cattle and local wildlife over the winter months.

Fordinbridge Pumpkin Pastures
Address: Ringwood Road, Slip Road, Fordingbridge, SP6 1AN
Fordingbridge Pumpkin Pastures will be opening over the weekend of October 12-13 and then every day from October 19.
Opening times are from 9.30am to 4pm and there is free entry to the site.
Wellies are recommended due to the fields being muddy and only guide/registered service dogs are allowed on-site.
