Studio Five, Wembley

A cool collision of live music, delicious dining, and exciting links to legends of London’s cultural legacy... Studio Five has just opened its doors.

Found within the 1,200-capacity Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, the stylish, standalone restaurant draws on the locale’s historic connection with music legends and pop culture icons to tune into a unique dining experience for North West London’s cultural neighbourhood.

Open Wednesdays through to Sundays, the restaurant is a short stroll from Wembley Park station. It's a destination for those seeking an immersive experience steeped in a storied history. Live entertainment from an impressive roster of talent take to the venue’s stage, visible from all tables within the restaurant.

Standout dishes include crispy fried whole aubergine with coconut raita, Blythburgh Pork cutlet with Kashmiri chilli, and a modern take on fish and chips accompanied by minted pea puree and chilli ketchup.

Over the last century, the site on which Studio Five sits has been home to Fox Films, ITV, and Limehouse. In 1964 The Beatles performed there, and in 1991, just six months before his untimely death, Freddie Mercury recorded his final music video – These Are The Days Of Our Lives – at the studios. From 1993 to 2017 the site was operated by Fountain, who brought in huge shows such as The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, and the UK-based episodes of Friends.

Adding to the venue’s credentials are Studio Five’s co-owners Olivier Award-winning producers Oliver Royds, and Broadway and West End theatre producer Tristan Baker. Between them, the pair have been behind countless innovative productions of recent years including David Bowie's Lazarus (Troubadour Kings Cross Theatre); Guys & Dolls (West End, UK, International Tours); The Railway Children (Waterloo Station, Toronto Roundhouse, Kings Cross Theatre); and Disney’s Newsies for Runaway Entertainment.
