Knowing fitness is at the heart of wellness, it also offers a fully equipped gym. The North Lakes spa experience is made special by its dedicated team on site and the therapists who deliver excellent treatments.
Describe your signature treatment and its benefits.
The spa at North Lakes offers treatments from Caudalie and Mediterranean inspired brand Templespa. The spa’s Signature Treatments are all from Templespa, which offer ultimate relaxation and improved wellbeing. The Ultimate Glow – a back, face and scalp treatment – uses Mediterranean botanicals and essential oils followed by a skin transforming facial. The Templespa Soul Soother treatment, an aromatic body experience that provides instant relief for those tired and overworked muscles. And the new Templespa Your Best You treatment is designed for menopause relief and is bespoke to each guest, using a combination of expert therapist hands and Himalayan Salt stones, along with Templespa nurturing skincare to support stress relief, increase energy, and positively boost the mood.
Are there any new developments, or plans?
The relaxation space upstairs has recently had an uplift to create a more peaceful and calm area for guests, with flowing curtains and access to light bites and refreshments. There are also plans to look at the journey throughout the spa as we recognise the importance of getting from one space to another, music and lighting can create the perfect ongoing ambience.
Do you offer accommodation?
The hotel has 84 rooms on site and offers a range of rooms available to suit everyone including signature rooms, family rooms, interconnecting rooms and dog friendly rooms. Every room comes with teas and coffees, robes and slippers and all overnight guests can take advantage of the hearty breakfast in the morning.
What is the food and drink offer?
On site is the AA Rosette FYR Grill Restaurant, where the open fire grill takes centre stage. And from the open larder, chefs expertly prepare fresh terrines, paté, artisan cured meats and a selection of seasonal salads for the cold chef’s table. The menu is all about great quality ingredients, cooked simply to allow the flavours and textures to be the heroes of the dish. The restaurant has high wooden beams and large windows for an open plan feel and there is also an outdoor terrace and fire pit perfect for all year round.
