An array of Lancashire pubs feature in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for 2025 which celebrates its 52nd edition.

CAMRA said: “The Guide, which lists 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK, is the definitive beer drinker’s guide for those seeking the best pints in the nations’ pubs and is on sale now.”

The 52nd edition of the guide has two covers this year – one featuring Coronation Street’s Rovers Return Inn and Emmerdale’s Woolpack is printed on the other.

CAMRA Chairman Ash Corbett-Collins said: “The Rovers Return Inn and the Woolpack represent the UK’s love of their local, and to have them featured on the covers for this year’s Guide is very exciting.

“CAMRA’s mission is to ensure support from the Government as well as tangible legislation to protect pubs across each nation of the UK.

“By next year’s edition of the Guide, we want to be talking about the beer and pub trade growing with the support of communities and parliament alike.”

Lancashire pubs featuring in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2025

The Lancashire pubs that feature in the 2025 guide include Barlick Tap Ale House in Barnoldswick, Cask & Tap in Blackpool and Ale House in Clitheroe.

Barlick Tap House has been well-received with customers on Google Reviews as it has earned a 4.8 rating from 223 reviews.

One visitor said: “Excellent micro pub in the heart of town. A very very good selection of well-kept beers all served with a laugh & a smile. Very reasonable prices and friendly locals also.”

Cask & Tap in Blackpool is said to offer “excellent” cask beers with one visitor on Tripadvisor saying: “4 of us visited the Cask & Tap while in Blackpool for the darts at the Winter Gardens. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff & the cask beers were excellent. We'll definitely be back again next time we're in the area & this is definitely the best bar in Blackpool.”

The pub has a 5-star rating on Tripadvisor from 29 reviews.
