Mowbreck Park nestles in the grounds of the Earl of Derby’s former estate, sheltered by mature woodland and dotted with well-maintained gardens. The park is a haven from busy urban life whilst being just 15 minutes away from Blackpool and Lytham St. Annes, and 5 minutes from Wrea Green. Whether you’re looking for holidays at caravan parks in Lancashire or to invest in a holiday home at one of Lytham St Annes caravan sites, Mowbreck Park is your best choice.

The modern caravans are well-appointed and centrally heated, with their own veranda and garden area, making them ideal for dog friendly caravan holidays in Blackpool.

The bright lights of Blackpool, the beaches of Lytham St. Annes and the beautiful Beacon Fell Country Park are all just a short drive away.

Eva Carroll, Sales and Marketing Executive at Mowbreck Park talks about the area around the park, and how the site is catered to create a relaxing holiday destination.

“There is a lovely community of like-minded, socially active people at Mowbreck Park. Being family run, there is personal family touch in every corner. There is also a launderette and hi-speed WIFI.

There are lots of walks around the park, walking into the local town across the fields. There is also a hard footpath around the outside of the park. We are very dog friendly and there are lots of fields for dogs to run about in. Most of the vans are dog friendly too.”

Mowbreck Park is a family run park, owned by Shirley & Michael Carroll for over 30 years, and are looking forward to another 30 years of it being in the family. Their daughter Eva joined a year ago now, and loves it.

“The park is a really nice size, not too big with a nice community feel. All the owners know each other and they all know my mum and I.

We are in a really great location in that we are just off the J3 of the M55, but we are down a county road and surrounded by fields so it’s nice and quiet. We are surrounded by mature woodlands, so it feels like you are really in the countryside. However, we are only a 15 minute drive to Blackpool, where there is loads going on and has lots to offer.”

There are about 200 units on site, and they don’t have any facilities apart form a laundrette. However, it’s a part of the selling point that they have no facilities. It keeps the park really nice and quiet. It’s so lovely and relaxing, the fact that they don’t have a clubhouse or anything like that also means that the site fees are really competitive.

Buying a caravan at Mowbreck Park gives you a sense of community that you may not find anywhere else. You have somewhere that is your own, that you can come to whenever you want, that you know is safe and secure.

The park and the vans are all looked after while owners aren’t around, the staff are very proud of the upkeep of the park and maintain a high standard or care for every  home and all the surrounding areas.

"You also have the opportunity to make new friends that you maybe wouldn’t have come across otherwise, who are in the exact same stage of life as you. It’s a fantastic opportunity to socialise with neighbours and visit some new towns in the surrounding areas."

Mowbreck Park have something for everyone, whether you are looking for an affordable second hand van, which start at £20,000, or a brand new unit, worth up to £72,000.

“We also have opportunities for double unit’s which go up to around £180,000.”
