1. Britons Arms

Chef Richard Ellis has been at the helm of this coffee house and restaurant since November 2021.

There are breakfast, lunch, evening and pre-bookable afternoon tea menus, with outdoor seating in the secret garden. 

It was previously run by sisters Gilly Mixer and Sue Skipper for more than 40 years and the building also featured in the 2007 film Stardust.

2. The Courtyard Café

Located in Wrights Court, off Elm Hill, The Courtyard Café recently reopened under new ownership.

Customers can expect locally sourced food and drink and it is also available for private hire.

3. Olives 

At the bottom of Elm Hill, Olives is a breakfast and brunch institution in a superb setting.

The menu includes various fry-up variations, grilled cheese sandwiches and burritos. 

There are also vegetarian and vegan options, with a children's menu available too.
