These are some of the best fireworks displays happening in Norfolk in 2024, including a new event.

1. Blakeney 

Where: Carnser Car Park, Blakeney, NR25 7ND

When: October 26, from 5pm

Price: Free entry, donations encouraged

Parking: Limited free parking at Blakeney Village Hall with signposted overflow parking at £4 per vehicle (cash only)

This annual 'end of season' event is organised by Blakeney Parish Council.

It will start at 5pm, with the Ruby Flames Entertainment show at 6.15pm, a bonfire at 6.45pm and the fireworks display at 7.30pm. 

There will also be street food vendors, an Adnams Bar, fairground stalls, children's rides and more.

2. King's Lynn

Where: The Walks, King's Lynn, PE30 1PE

When: November 1, from 6pm

Price: Free, donations encouraged

Parking: Use town centre car parks, including St James Multi-storey

Fawkes in the Walks, an annual free fireworks display, is organised by the Borough Council of King's Lynn & West Norfolk.

The fun will start at 6pm, when the park will be packed with stalls and rides.

There will be live music from Topcover and BEAR CLUB, with the display scheduled to begin at 8pm.

3. Aylsham

Where: Henry Page Road, Aylsham, NR11 6UH

When: November 1, 5.30pm-10pm

Price: Adults: £6/£7, children (5-16): £5/£6, under 5s free, family ticket (two adults, two children): £15/£20, the cheaper price is if you book in advance

Parking: Disabled parking only

This event will take place next to Woodgate Nursery, with the bonfire lit at 6pm, a small display at 6.30pm and the main display at 8pm.

You can also expect fairground rides, food vendors and Redwell Brewing's converted fire engine bar. 

Tickets can be purchased in advance from Coxfords Butchers, JB Postle or Aylsham Town Hall (in person or over the phone at 01263 733354).

4. Thorpe St Andrew

Where: Fitzmaurice Park, Pound Lane, Thorpe St Andrew, NR7 0UL

When: November 2, 4.30pm-9pm

Price: £5, under 3s: free, buytickets.at/tsatc (advance booking only)

Parking £2 (cash only) in Sir George Morse Park, Laundry Lane, NR7 0XQ

This event on the outskirts of Norwich is organised by Thorpe St Andrew Town Council.

The fireworks display will be at 7.30pm and there will also be a glitter bar, a funfair, two bars, including The Brewery Tap, and 20 food vendors.

5. Attleborough

Where: Attleborough Recreation Ground, NR17 2AS 

When: November 3, from 4pm

Price: £3.50 in advance from Cranks Bicycles or Tony Perkins Butchers (use Connaught Hall entrance), £5 on the gate (use football club entrance), under 10s: free

Parking: No parking at the venue

Arrive early and enjoy a whole host of attractions, including children's rides and entertainment, craft stalls, a laser light show and face painting.

There will also be food vendors and a bar, with the display usually finished by 7.15pm.

6. Rollesby

Where: Highfield Farm, Heath Road, Rollesby, NR29 5HJ

When: November 5, from 5pm

Price: Adults: £10 (includes one free child ticket for under 16s), additional children: £5, ticketsource.co.uk (search 'Flashfx')

Parking: Free (subject to availability)

Leading Norfolk fireworks company Flashfx has organised this new event.

The bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm and there will be two displays - a low-bang one at 6.30pm and a traditional one at 8pm. 

You can also expect a funfair and tasty food and drink, including the Redwell Brewing fire engine bar and a hog roast.

This event will support Sunbeams, a centre for people with autism, and Aylsham Scouts.

7. Wymondham

Where: Wymondham RFC, Barnards Field, Bray Drive, Wymondham, NR18 0GQ

When: November 8, 5pm-11pm

Price: £10, under 4s: free, advance booking essential at wymondhamrfc.com/club-events

Parking: £7, book in advance

Head to Wymondham Rugby Club for its annual fireworks extravaganza, which is one of the biggest in Norfolk. 

The display will be at 8pm and there will also be food vendors, bars, a children's funfair, live music, stalls and much more.
