From jazz to pop and rock to retro, summer’s music lineup at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre is bursting with joy.

The venue, just steps away from the town’s North Bay beach and prom, has become a hugely popular party venue in the past few years as big names bring the crowds to ‘Scarbados’.

The atmosphere in this historic venue is always full of fun and bringing the party this year are bands such as Madness, Deacon Blue and Simple Minds.

Artists including Paul Weller, Gregory Porter, Tom Jones and Rick Astley promise to offer their own brand of music – promising a lineup over the summer months with something to suit all music lovers.

Promoter Julian Murray, of Cuffe and Taylor who programme live music at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, said: ‘It’s going to be an incredible summer of headline music at this stunning Yorkshire coast venue.

‘We pride ourselves on programming shows for all tastes and we believe we have put together a rich and diverse line-up.

‘We cannot wait for those first shows to start in what is shaping up to be the best year ever at Scarborough OAT!’
